CANconnect Boot Loader

When using CANconnect to boot load a module please make sure that there is only one module on the CAN bus.

After opening CANconnect, go to the Tools menu and click on Open Boot Loader…

The file name for the flash application firmware is entered directly below the Program Flash and Verify Flash buttons. Click on the Browse… button to the right of this field to select the correct file.

Click on Enable to enable the boot loader. This will also turn ON the flash fail-safe.

Click on Program Flash to program the flash into the module.

Click on Verify Flash to verify that the flash was programmed successfully.

Click on Disable to disable the boot loader. This will also turn OFF the flash fail-safe.

At this point if there were no errors then the boot loading process is complete.
